How to make Soo Guy Chicken
Firstly, remove the chicken from its packaging. Preheat a lightly greased 200C or 400F oven for 5 minutes. Then place the chicken parts in a plastic bag and add sufficient water.
Close the bag securely and leave it to marinate for about 30 minutes. In a large bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce.
Then heat some oil in a pan and fry the ginger until it is golden brown. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cooled, rub on the chicken parts on all sides.
Spread out the chicken on a baking tray that has been lightly oiled beforehand. Ensure that you do not place any pieces on top of each other.
Spread the sauce over the chicken very generously, cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 200C or 400F.
Then remove the foil and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes until the meat becomes golden-brown.
