Stir in fresh or frozen broccoli florets then cover and cook until they are tender but still crisp or for about six minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally during this step so that your beef does not burn and broccoli cooks evenly.
Add flank steak back into skillet with the sauce then cook until heated throughout, stirring constantly which only takes about one minute.
